In this new site Smile Train Italy aims to create a space
dedicated to the technical and scientific aspects of cleft lip and
palate, offering a tool that can be used by everyone to find out
about the latest news, as well as receive information on
conferences and national and international courses on cleft lip
and palate and related issues.
This site will provide an opportunity to express your comments on
techniques and surgical procedures, ask for clarification and
comments through a forum open to everyone, and go on line with
colleagues from all the Countries that are also interested in
offering several weeks work experience to medical doctors that
make an application. This site offers everyone the chance to share
their ideas with all the doctors and health care workers who have
taken to heart the interests of children affected with cleft lip
and palate.
There will also be an area for the parents of children born with
cleft lip and palate and for patients who have already been
operated on and who wish to make a comment, give advice or
anything else through a site which is dedicated to them.
